Who are the Christadelphians?

Christadelphians are a Bible-based Christian denomination. The name means brothers and sisters of Christ. We are a lay movement, structured around local congregations.
In addition to fellowship, worship, preaching, teaching, and care, Christadelphians operate aged care facilities open to the whole community, as well as schools and retirement villages. Congregations are present in many countries around the world.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible contains God's message over many centuries, and it is still relevant and powerful today. We love to read and study the Bible, and our beliefs and practices are based on what it teaches. It teaches us about God and Jesus, gives advice for daily living, and explains God's purpose with the earth. You might like to read 2 Timothy 3:16.
God
We believe that there is one God. He is everlasting and infinitely powerful. He is loving, wise, and just. He is the creator of all things. He loves us as his children. You might like to read Psalm 8.
What we believe
We believe that Jesus is God's son, sent by God to save us. He is the Christ, anointed by God with the Holy Spirit, and our Lord. When he died, God raised him to unending life. He will return to reign as King of the world. You might like to read Acts 1:10-11.

The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God's power. He used it to create all things in the beginning. He poured it out after the resurrection of Jesus. By his Spirit God dwells in us, inspiring us to live in love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and moderation. Suggested reading to be confirmed.
Salvation
We believe that we all need God to save us: to rescue us from frailty and failure, heal us, and transform us. God forgives our past sins and receives us as his children when we believe his promises. We are baptised into Jesus Christ by full immersion in water. You might like to read Romans 6.
Life after death
We believe that human beings are, like all created things, mortal. Death is inevitable. God offers hope of life beyond death for those who believe his promises and commit to following Jesus Christ. Suggested reading to be confirmed.
The return of Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ will return to establish the Kingdom of God. He will raise the faithful dead to life and give them immortality in a new body. He will establish a world of integrity, equity, compassion, and peace, and the Kingdom will stand for ever. Suggested reading to be confirmed. Daniel 2 has been suggested.
